Introduction

Hi, thanks for showing interest to the ML Community Uzbekistan!

We are community of enthusiasts who are passionate about AI and we set an optimistic goal of being a driving force of AI in Uzbekistan. Our Mission is to create an environment for the development AI in Uzbekistan. We do this by creating an ecosystem of community, educational projects and AI products development.

For a year and a half of the existence of our community, we have achieved tangible success:

• Our educational seminars, lectures and events were attended by more than 1.5 thousand participants.
• We have trained about 70 students from zero for absolutely free.
• Organized internships for community members at Artel, Bellissimo Pizza and the Research Institute of Artificial Intelligence.

In addition, we are actively working on a number of ambitious projects:

• We plan to organize a large-scale AI hackathon.
• We are developing an international forum on Artificial Intelligence in Central Asia with the support of the Central Asian AI Association.
• We are recording the Uzbek AI podcast ML Choy.
• We are building AI-products for the Bellissimo Pizza and Artel Group.
• We launched second iteration of mlc.course with more than 25 students.
• and other projects.

On the way to achieve our goals, we are actively cooperating with leading public and private organizations, such as: Ministry of Digital Technologies, Ministry of Higher Education and Innovation, IT-Park, as well as with the universities of New Uzbekistan, Inha and Akfa, as well as with Impact.t Hub, C -Space, Skeptiklar Studiasi, Alif Uzbekistan, Iman Invest, Artel Group, TASS Vision and others.
